Used Komptech Crambo 5200 EC Direct for sale at Chess This 2014 Komptech Crambo 5200 EC Direct has 7,600 operating hours and is powered by a 6-cylinder CAT C13 diesel engine (329 kW). It is a slow-speed twin-shaft shredder: two counter-rotating shafts with heavy-duty shredding teeth work against a cutting comb. The direct mechanical drive transfers engine power straight to the shafts (2820mm length), giving high efficiency and low fuel consumption. The machine sits on a crawler undercarriage, so it is easy to move around the yard or site. It has hydraulically folding hopper sides for loading by wheel loader or excavator, a long folding discharge conveyor and a central lubrication system. This machine has only been used for green waste at a district heating plant, and it is in very nice condition, both optically and mechanically. At around 5,000 hours it received new shafts, a new transmission, a new belt and a new undercarriage. Zeppelin has maintained the CAT engine, and the next service is due in 400 hours.
