Flail mowers
have become a very interesting proposition for many of our customers. Some people call them "special tasks" mowers, because they can easily mow long grass or heavily overgrown areas. As the name suggests, flail mowers
are mowers in which the mowing function is performed by flails placed on the cutting shaft. The cutting shaft rotates at the appropriate speed around its axis, shearing what is above the set height.
Flail mower EFGC-K 175 4FARMER
, commonly known as a " mulcher
", is a massive flail mower with an opening rear flap, which is perfect for mowing wastelands, meadows and pastures, weed areas or remains of corn harvest. It is definitely a product that will also fulfill its task in municipal companies when taking care of green areas.
An advantage is the possibility of opening the tailgate when mowing very overgrown areas. The mowed material will be less fragmented, but at the same time the tractor will not be loaded as heavily as when working with a closed tailgate.
In which areas will the mower be 100% used? brake, barren, roadsides, orchards and plant nurseries, green areas, infested areas, meadows, pastures, removal of harvest residues. It is very important to regularly check the sharpness of the mowing mechanism with a flail mower. This ensures that mowing is effective and efficient. The flail mower not only mows, but also mulches the cut material. What is it about? It is a technique of mowing grass / other organic materials and shredding the cut material into a natural fertilizer that fertilizes the soil. The advantage of mulching is also preventing soil erosion, slowing down the growth of weeds and, importantly, depriving us of unwanted mowed grass, for example, which is often an additional problem.
We can mulch the grass and crop residues, thanks to which we limit the amount of post-harvest residues, provide the soil with natural fertilizer and protect it against pests, e.g. in the stems of the above-ground parts of plants.
Flail mower (mulcher)
EFGC-K 175 4FARMER
has a cutting width of 175 cm, it is the largest mower among the eight available widths. In addition to a solid working shaft equipped with horizontally arranged shredding beaters, the mower also has a rear (copying) shaft. It allows you to adjust the cutting height and keep the mower at the desired height. The drive from the tractor's PTO shaft is 540 rpm.

, it is very important to choose the right mower for the power and weight of your tractor. The EFGC-K 175 flail mower (mulcher)
requires a minimum of 60 HP with a large tractor weight.
